Industrial Electrician/Crane and Hoist Service Technician/Service Sales:
Tri-State Equipment, has immediate openings for Service Technicians.
Position Summary:
Primary responsibility is to provide quality installations, inspections, maintenance and repairs of hoist and crane equipment. Breakdowns will require troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components and circuits.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to verify safety and compliance with Manufacturer, OSHA and ANSI standards.
· Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment (strong knowledge of motor repair).
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.
· Support customers by effectively communicating with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
· Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs.
Skills and Knowledge:
· Good mechanical and electrical skills required.
· Minimum one to three years work experience with similar types of equipment in a manufacturing environment.
· Welding skills a plus.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment Considerations:
· Work various environments and working conditions depending on assignment.
· Occasional overtime required
· Occasional out of town work
· Working at heights and some heavy lifting.
