OSHA Compliance Inspections & Preventive Maintenance
TRI-STATE EQUIPMENT'S Inspection and Preventive Maintenance Program is designed to:
- Document proper compliance with OSHA rules as well as industry standards
- Reduce dangerous risks such as injury and property damage associated with equipment failure.
- Reduce costly breakdowns - increasing production
- Extend the life of your equipment
Onsite & In-house Repairs
If you do encounter unexpected breakdowns, our maintenance staff is on call 24 hrs a day, seven days a week to perform onsite repairs.
“In house repairs” are those that are performed entirely in our shop as opposed to those performed at the customer's location. For decades, industrial companies have sent us their defective electric, air, hand, and lever chain hoists with the instruction “repair and return.” TRI-STATE EQUIPMENT has highly qualified, factory trained technicians dedicated to handling these repairs. We always provide a detailed quote before repair and make every effort to return your repaired hoist quickly. All repairs include manufacturer's authorized parts as well as a load test at 125% of the rated capacity. Our repair process produces a like new hoist at a fraction of the price.
Installations
We offer complete turnkey material handling solutions that include installation of all the products we sell. We can relocate crane equipment from existing facilities and retrofit into a new location.

Load Testing
OSHA regulations require that all new cranes or cranes where critical load bearing parts have been replaced should be tested to confirm the load rating of the crane, with documentation readily available for inspection. TRI-STATE EQUIPMENT can efficiently perform certified load tests on equipment from 250 lbs. to over 100 tons using standard weights for lower capacity tests and water weight bags on higher capacities.
The system must be tested with a load of at least 100% but not greater than 125% of rated capacity. -Per OSHA Par. 1910.179

Safety and Training
TRI-STATE EQUIPMENT offers a complete factory authorized training program to educate your employees regarding the proper safety practices on your cranes and hoists. We train to OSHA and ASME standards, and issue certificates following program completion.
A safe work environment is an important factor in manufacturing efficiency and higher productivity. Workplace safety eliminates lost time due to injury and illness, reduces insurance costs, and raises employee morale. Safety makes money.
